Yo ho ho mateys! Tis the season to join the South Beach Buccaneers as they welcome Santa to the Westport Marina, 10:00 am the first Saturday of December. Delivered to shore by the US Coast Guard, he will be escorted to the Destruction Island Lighthouse Lens Exhibit Hall on the grounds of the Westport Maritime Museum by cheering children and the Westport Fire Department. You can visit Santa in the Lens Building; bring your camera and capture the fun. Next door at McCausland Hall be sure to visit the bazaar and bake sale. You can party with the Pirates further down Westhaven drive at the Tackle Box Building.
